1. Liberation by Outkast - basically any album by Outkast especially from the 90s.
2. Da Mystery of Chessboxin' by Wu-Tang Clan - loved the entire 36 Chambers album. Who doesn't?
3. All I Need - Method Man ft. Mary J. Blige - was one of his favorites and has and will always be one of mine (yes I sound like a white woman when I rap along and don't say certain words of the song - I am aware - is okay).
4. Roar - Katy Perry - Drew would sing this song and it would always make him cry.
5. Gold - Chet Faker and also his rendition of No Diggity

5. Drum N Bass - Drew's love of music especially electronic music started in the 90s. He would spend hours, days, weeks, on beats. He once made a Drum N Bass beat w/ the Hellraiser theme song. I always begged him for one with the Sanford & Son theme song. I am thankful that I still have all his music. I used to joke that his setup looked like he could fly rockets from the house. Then I watched as the equipment he loved disappeared, but how he kept the ones he loved the most.
1. Mahna Mahna by Cake (from Sesame Street) - This was our song. The song we danced to at our wedding. Played at our wedding by Gigi Dover & Eric Lovell.
2. Star Wars Them Song - The song we walked down the aisle to at our wedding.
3. Son of a Preacher Man by Dusty Springfield - a song Drew used to love to hear me sing, even if I was always off by half an octave. :)
First off - I change a lot of lyrics in my head to suit me - no disrespect to the artist - there are just some lyrics I can't say, so I make them funny, or I make them funny/dirty because I need a giggle, or I switch the words around to apply to me so that I can feel better - no disrespect - the songs heal.
1. Fare Thee Well - performed by Rob Benedict. This is not spiritual for me - more Supernatural, just powerful all the same.
2. The Night We Met - Lord Huron. Talk about a healing song for me.
3. Simple Man - performed by Shinedown (originally by Lynyrd Skynyrd (geez- so many Y in their name)). This song is straight for Drew.
4. Lose Control - Teddy Swims. Just damn.
